Love is Patient, 1 Corinthians 13:4

by John

Christian Life Overview:

The Christian life is always full of challenges, why? Because it is not a life that is a normal life but it is supernatural life if someone believes.

Patience is an important part of the Christian life because in many things the devil tries to make turmoil through impatience. You see, in traffic on a road if someone overtakes wrongly, it disturbs that person who is practising Godly patience.

Word of God For Love:

In our daily routines; if there is a lack of patience in the family that family can be like hell. Let’s see the living Word of God, it is written in the Bible;

“But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”

The Bible says, let patience have its perfect work, what does it mean? It means that we are to allow divine patience to work in us.

Now we have a question! Do we have it already in us? Yes! We have this already inside us through the power of the Holy Spirit. As we give our lives to Jesus and commit our ways for God, we receive the free gift of the Holy Spirit from God, who is Himself, God. And patience is one of the attributes of Father.

Love is Patient: 1 Corinthians 13 chapter, 4th verse

Remember, it is written in The Bible in 1 Corinthians 13 chapter, 4th verse first part of the verse say,

“Love is Patient…”

The Bible is teaching us Love is Patience, who is that Love? If we see in The Bible in 1 John 4:16 says,

 “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”

The above-given verse is explaining that God is Love, also bible says Love is patient, it clearly means God is patient! When we are born again believers; we are already having God inside us through The Holy Spirit.  God has given us free will; God doesn’t control us. If we submit our free will to God’s Word then God gives us the power to be patient in all kinds of disturbing circumstances.

Many Christians think that it is so difficult to walk in patience, but it’s so easy with the Holy Spirit; in this way, we can be freed from all worries. Surely, it doesn’t mean that we can’t make mistakes again but it means that this biblical way empowers us to walk patience, as the bible teaches us.
